- Last week, I turned in a homework assignment without finishing the whole thing. I am a bit of a perfectionist, and this was a major disappointment for me... but alas, there are only 24 hours in a day
- I am really happy with myself for sticking to the workout regimine. Strangely, I like watching food network while I workout
- I have too much to do right now... this is the first time in my life where I really have questioned that I would be able to complete all of the things I committed to
- I haven't done anything 'gay' since new years eve. I miss hanging out with friends
- I am so excited about seeing Modest Mouse and Death Cab for Cutie in the next month
- More people at my office got laid off, which really worries me. I am worried they will just close our satellite office, and I will be out of a job.
- Part of me wishes I would get laid off so it would force me to move out of this god forsaken city and go somewhere cool
- On a happier note, I have found three new bands I love on Pandora- everyone should be using this.
- I was I were more interesting, younger, and cuter (and had more time to spend on MSN) so I would have more internet friends. I know I know... this sounds pitiful, and it is :-)
- I had forgotten about a you tube post I made, until I got a comment on it today. I made a video my senior year of highschool for religion class. In retrospect it was crap, but I had a blast making it. Also, yes I know the quality is crappy and I am no director, but remember too that at this time I only had a shitty usb capture card, and I couldn't find any nature DVDs so I had to capture from VHS (this was like 2003). I was shocked to see my video has 2900+ views!! On a day like today, I really needed that little pick me up.
Here's the vid. The song is Moby "God Moving Over the Face of the Waters" and its beautiful in its simplicity. I hope the images compliment the song... but they are a bit of a mish mash so it kind of fails.
(had to take off of youtube, because they killed it since it used the song)
Much Love,
Steve

The video is a fascinating series of images: a mixture of beauty, joy, sorrow, and urgency. Thanks for posting.
I'm afraid God moved over the face of the Earth, and then decided to just keep on moving after he saw what a mess humans had made of things. God has left the universe.
@naturgesetz- thanks for the compliment!
@JT- I definitely agree with the sentiment that we have made a mess of things. However, I would assert that since man created god, he can write him into the plot as long as it suits his needs :-)
Whew- Im feeling especially anti-religious after watching religulous again. I wish I were Bill Maher!!
