And I know what you're thinking-- how did he actually make money at a lemonade stand?? well the secret was variety and snacks. I had many different kinds of lemonade and various cupcakes, etc. for sale as well. This was my main differentiator, and increased my PCT (per car total). Some simple market analysis lead to different product offerings, etc, and my friend Jack and I increased revenue by 200% in two days. Hardcore for 11 year olds ;-)

Hows life you (didn't) ask? Well things are busy. I'm trying to graduate in May, which requires many many hours at starbucks. Work is great at the moment. I realized today that I really enjoy my current job, and am glad I made the switch a year ago. We are in the infancy of a new product offering, which was my creation. It's a different type of product and sales model from the rest of the company so the business development/marketing guy and the two of us engineers are kind of an autonomous entrepreneurial unit inside of our company. It's been really satisfying and rewarding to kind of work in a startup mode without the massive risk of little funding that most startups have to deal with.

Much Love,
Steve

How interesting. I may copy this.

That's cool about work. I'm trying my best to create that same sort of environment. :-)
