My first song

Like all wanna-be musicians, I played around with FLStudio to 'make' music. This was my first attempt at something. It was done in the middle of George W's second term, and I was in a political phase back then...so I created some music and found a number of clips of funny, ironic, and hypocritical things that good Dubya said. I intended it to be more 'fun' instead of mean-spirited...but it does kind of play as an angry political statement. I'm so apathetic towards politics now, I don't care. I'm posting it because of the music part, not because I'm trying to 'make a statement' or 'send a message' or anything like that.

As I listen to it now, I kinda cringe. I think I thought the music was good when I made it, but now it just seems childish, simple, contrived, uninspired, and embarrassing. But as the masochist that I am, I am putting it on here for the public scorn and ridicule. If nothing else at least the sound clips are fun! It's not-so-cleverly titled "Step 2: Place foot in mouth":

In other news, I am flying to Chicago with friends Monday! It is going to be so much fun. We are going to Blue Man Group, shopping, find some gay clubs, visit the aquarium, etc. It will be great!!

Much Love,
Steve

I'm woefully-behind on reading blogs. 888 unread (including comment feeds).

This actually isn't that bad, though it's a smidge slow, and perhaps seven years too late. ;-)

Instead, we have T Pain's Obama Auto-Tune.

This is yet another reason why I need an iPhone.

I do lovfe all of the 'auto-tune' parodies out there.

I did make this many years ago, when he was in office. I have no reason for posting it now, just found it, and uploaded it to you tube along with another project I did for fun.

Thanks for the comment-- and yes I am behind on blogs too!
